2D Art
My Process
This piece of art shows how I plan/map out my work and how the end result turns out. First, I look for as multiple reference images, then I combine and arrange them as needed. After the photobash process, I start to work on each object/area on their own layers and create them using various techniques, such as, painting with multiple brushes and adding filters and layer styles to customize it to my liking.
Props / Environment
Clowning Around
This project was an original concept that I had for a small platforming game themed around clowns and cops. Working on this project introduced me to the process of creating pixel art and level design.

The Lost Scrolls of the Bushida Clan
This project was an original concept that I had for a small ninja adventure game. Working on this project helped me improve my vector art and level design skills.

Cat and Dog Game
For this collaboration project, I worked on the prop and environment art. With this project, I was able to practice a cartoon style with the props and a wet paint style with the environment and with only a week to work on this project, I proved that I can create game worthy assets in a short amount of time. Revolutionary Overdrive
This original weapon was themed around the American Revolutionary War and following the art style of the game, "Sunset Overdrive." Working on this project allowed me to practice my traditional drawing skills and introduced me to the process of concept art.

Characters / User Interface
Cuphead Inspired Boss
This character was inspired by the art style of the game, "Cuphead." When creating this character, I put myself in the mindset of creating a boss that would actually go into the game, so I did a lot of research on what themes the game used and most importantly, how would this character fit in the narrative; once I figured out both of these things, I was able to successfully create this character.
Professor Layton Inspired Characters
These characters were inspired by the art style of the "Professor Layton" game series. When creating these characters, I knew that I wanted them to be in a steampunk setting, so I pulled most of my references and inspiration from the steampunk genre, as well as, "Professor Layton and the Unwound Future," a game in the series that has a steampunk style. Now, I wanted the human character (referenced/based on actor, Andrew Rannells) to replace the current main character or act as if he were the main character of a spin-off game in the series, while I wanted to replace the human sidekick with a robot animal, differing from the existing series. Finally, I wanted to keep the color scheme similar to the original main characters, to keep it in theme with the series.

Clowning Around
This project was an original concept that I had for a small platforming game themed around clowns and cops. The main character, Boso, was the first original character that I designed from concept to final in-game.

The main menu was designed based on the story I created for the game; the cops were the main antagonist and the clowns were the protagonists, so that's why I decided to go with the clown themed defiled cop statue. I chose balloons for the menu buttons to stick with the playful circus theme, which is why I also put a circus tent in the background.
The UI was designed based on the game mechanics that I created for the game, including an pie ammo counter for the player's weapon and a horn life counter for the player's life tracker.
The Lost Scrolls of the Bushida Clan
This project was an original concept that I had for a small ninja adventure game. The main character, Hisao (He-saow) Bushida, was the first vector art character that I created; he was also the first character that I built a game around instead of the other way around.

The UI for this project was stylized around the Ancient Japanese Ninja/Samurai theme, while keeping the simplistic cartoon vector art style.
Revolutionary Overdrive
This original character was themed around the American Revolutionary War and following the art style of the game, "Sunset Overdrive." Working on this project allowed me to practice my traditional drawing skills and introduced me to the process of concept art.

Digital Paintings
These digital paintings are what I like to work on in my free time, allowing me to practice style match, color theory, linework, and my personal creativity on these already popularized characters.
Ad / Physical Game
NHL Stanley Cup Playoff Ad
For this art piece, I used multiple photoshop tools, such as the various unique selection tools to cut out the hockey players and the effects tools, giving the players drop shadows and messing with the volumes of their contrast and brightness. I also used the noise effect to make the UFO beam seem more realistic and the pattern effect to give the NHL logo on the comet a cracking texture.
Killer DVD Cover
In this art piece, I show various different types of my Photoshop skills including, text design, photo layering, spacing/layout setup, and color theme. This art piece is what encouraged me to work more on advertising art for games.
Dead By Daylight: Custom Chapter Reveal
This was my first attempt at an advertisement for a video game. Dead by Daylight is one of my favorite games and I am always excited for the new chapter reveals, so I decided to make one of my own for a chapter that I could potentially see them doing. I really enjoyed the entire process of creating this piece, inspiring me to want to work on more projects like it in the future.
Villainous: Randall Boggs
I have always wanted to try my hand at working on art for physical games, so I thought I'd start with one of my favorites; Villainous. The Disney series for this game has to be my favorite of the bunch and at the time of creating this piece, they had not really ventured into Pixar characters, and Monsters Inc. is a classic, so I thought I would take a crack at their scaly villain, Randall Boggs. I took a lot of inspiration from already existing cards, making sure to include silhouettes of defining features and following the same overall style that all the card backs share.
Tactical Mages Sprite Concepts
These are the concepts I did for the various sprites that will be in the table top game, "Tactical Mages." Working on these helped me practice my 2D digital art skills and will be used as references when creating the 3D models for these characters.
3D Art
Ancient Exterior
This environment and its' props were inspired by "Assassin's Creed: Odyssey." All models were created in 3DS Max and textures were created in Adobe Photoshop. The final environment, landscape, and scene were created in Unity.
Futuristic Interior
This environment and its' props were inspired by the game series, "Star Wars: Battlefront." All models were made in 3DS Max and textures were made in Adobe Photoshop and Substance Painter. The final environment and scene were created in Unreal Engine 4.
These are the trim sheets and advanced materials used for various models in the final scene.
SPLIT Dead By Daylight Environment
This environment was inspired by the movie, "SPLIT," and the art style and themes of the game, "Dead By Daylight." All of the models were made in Blender and textured in Adobe Photoshop and Substance Painter. The final scenes and environment were set designed in Unreal Engine 5.
Here are the closeups of some of the smaller or high detailed props.
